Common RV Window Questions
**What causes RV windows to fog up?**
Fogging happens when the internal seal between the glass panes fails and lets moisture enter the air space.
**Will this kit fix etched glass?**
No — etched or scratched glass must be replaced, not just resealed.
**Do I have to remove the window from the RV to measure?**
Often No — measuring a Slider glass directly is the most accurate method.
**How long does DIY installation take?**
Most first-time DIY installs take 1–2 days for one window (your first may take longer). Next one will be much faster.
**Will a kit prevent fogging in the future?**
A correctly measured and installed kit will restore clarity and improve insulation, but long-term performance also depends on frame condition and installation care.

Measure the perimeter of each of the window sections you want to rebuild including the radius corners to determine if the kit you order has the correct amount of seal materials needed.
